Welltris

The Good
This is a soothing game for my wife, who liked tetris, but got bored. being able to move falling pieces down the 4 sides of the well for the most advantage is a great improvement. occaisionally you will get more than one line at a time. And every once in a while, you can clear a vertical and a horizontal at the same time. While it seems daunting when you first try it, it is actually easier than it looks. I have had times when i cleared a line I didn't see, because I was looking along the other axis. Also, if you get a piece climbing the side, it's not the end. You just can't move on that side for a few turns.

The Bad
There is no way to quit in the middle. you have to make yourself lose in order to quit. Your hand goes numb during a long, high scoring game.

The Bottom Line
If you like tetris, but are bored with its simplicity, take a trip down to the well. You won't regret it.

The Good
I like Tetris, but don't really like it... Welltris is so much more engaging that Tetris. It is excellent for challenging your "spacial relations" skills - the 3D well is a genius game design, in my opinion! The challenge progresses as the right pace, and the game is designed to be fair. With the 3D approach, you have the ability to "fix" your mistakes by approaching them from a different angle... if you're fast enough!

well for starters, it kinda looks like Tetris but when you start playing it, all the blocks start comming right at you & you have to put them like you do in Tetris but it's 3-d. i had loads of fun when my dad got it a long time ago. i wish i had it for myself. i miss playing it. it's so much better then regular tetris.
