Pony World is a game for children that comes from Poland. It was included in Idigicon's compilation 5 Games For Girls.

This game is not the typical pony game where the player feeds, grooms and trains a pony to race or jump fences. This is more of a management game like 'The Sims' than a horse training simulation. There are five scenarios to be played here. (It helps when reading the following to know that ponyleons are the game's equivalent of cash)
  • The first scenario is the tutorial. It is short but it is also open ended
  • Single: Here the player takes on Kevin, a pony who lives on his own. The task is to help Kevin find a lady friend and to do this the player must explore locations so that Kevin can meet other ponies while developing Kevin's home and career.
  • Millionaires: Two ponies want to make a lot of ponyleons by building up their farm.
  • Single Lady: Kate wants to live on a farm with her lifetime partner. Problem is she has not found him yet.
  • Baby: James and Lily have just got married and want a little pony of their own, a pony who will become the future racing champion.
Each scenario starts with one or more ponies. These ponies must be fed and watered, to do this the player either grows their own food which can be stored and eaten or sold for ponyleons. Additional income can be earned by getting a job, these are advertised in the local paper each day or by winning mini-games such as quizzes or races. With their ponyleons the ponies can upgrade their stable, buy new equipment such as a shower or grooming room, or toys, or food. Buildings can also be upgraded and additional carrot and cabbage fields can be purchased. Ponies can also use their ponyleons to go out to the theatre or other venue, a list of current activities is advertised in the local paper too.

The ponies have their needs and these are shown by on-screen status bars and a more detailed view of their life is shown on a statistics screen.

Pony World Windows The game has a map view which shows more than just one screen's worth of land. Here Kevin's looking for love but there's only boy ponies here
Pony World Windows Here the pony is feeding. The pony picture in the lower right shows his head bobbing up and down as he eats. When he walks it bobs from side to side in a cute way.
Pony World Windows The building option is accessed via the menu bar at the top of the screen, The Plant's tab is where the player buys more carrot and cabbage fields
