Scuba: Geheimnisse der Meere

In Scuba: Geheimnisse der Meere the player takes control of the three children Johnny, Jill and Luke which get invited by their uncle Marty who lives on small tropical island. There they meet the diving teacher Antonio, the marine biologist Luca and the photo journalist Mark. During the story (which revolves around a pirate captain who supposedly used this island as a hideout) these four persons give missions to the three main characters, e.g. photographing a certain fish or remove junk from the seabed.

During the missions the player finds items in the sea which he can trade for mussels. These mussels can be used to buy better gear in the local shop, e.g. a real scuba diving gear instead of snorkels. The gameplay itself is set in the sea which the player explores in first person perspective. Of course he has no unlimited time to his disposal because he has to return to the surface if his air runs out. The missions are always peaceful without violence.
