The Good
When you play this game you will certainly be reminded of SimLife. It's nicely angled towards the younger set; absent are the genetics experiments of SimLife, instead you deal primarily with balancing populations and predator/prey relations. You also have the added factor of a "human" (okay, gungan) population that wants to take flora and fauna for construction and eating. You have to make sure they're happy, but at the same time critical populations don't get wiped out.
The Bad
The balancing can get tiresome at times, and there's little variety to the gameplay. It's keeping each side in check at all times. If you like micromanagement, then it'll be your cup of tea.
The Bottom Line
An introduction to strategy games worth checking out.
