Word Workout Games

Word Workout Games is a compilation of three single-player word puzzles.

The games in this product, which all install and run independently, are:* The Great Wall of Words from Inertia

• Wordsearch: this game contains four hundred and twenty five wordsearch puzzles grouped into eight 'books'. It also has a puzzle creation function so that players can generate their own puzzles.

The game has all the features common to this genre; it is played with the mouse; words are identified in the grid by clicking on an end letter and dragging the mouse to the other end; words that have been found in the grid have lines drawn through them and they are ticked on the game's search list.
The game can be paused and it can be saved for completion later; it has a feature that locates words that the player cannot find for themselves; and the game can be printed, with or without grid lines, for completion off-line.

• Crosswords: This game contains four hundred and eighty six crossword puzzles grouped into five 'books'. The game itself has all the usual features, it has five different colour combinations for the crossword grid, it can be paused and it can be saved to be completed later. It has a hint feature, a concede word and concede game features. It can be printed either as a puzzle that has not been started, with the answers the player has managed to enter so far, or with all the answers in place.

The game will not allow the player to enter an incorrect answer.

Multiple user identities can be used allowing the same crossword to be played by different people on the same machine. Completed puzzles are highlighted on the puzzle menu screen and the game has a high score table which records the player's score and completion times.
