Hermie Sadler (full name Herman Marion Sadler III) was born in Emporia, Virginia on April 24, 1969 and has a younger brother named Elliott Sadler who is a professional NASCAR driver. Hermie began racing go-karts along with Elliott and gradually worked his way into the NASCAR Busch Series in 1992, running for several teams in a fourteen year span. He was awarded the NBS Rookie of the Year award in 1993 and won two races in '93 and '94. He has also raced in NASCAR's premiere series (Winston/Sprint Cup).
Sadler has also branched into other sports including professional wrestling, starting with a promotional feud in 2002 when he appeared at a TNA (Total Non-Stop Action) show and eventually opened his own promotion, the UWF (United Wrestling Federation). Sadler worked with TNA until 2006 when he decided to run his company independently before ultimately signing on as a announcer for TNA in December of 2007.
