Jacob T. Nicholson (b. 1976) was a game developer best known for his animations, character performances and level design he did at Valve Corporation, most notably Half-Life 2. He was for instance responsible for the scene in the game where Alyx hands Gordon Freeman the gravity gun for the first time.
He passed away in May 2016 at the age of 40. The game Half-Life: Alyx (2020) is dedicated to him.
