Michael Decher was born in 1977 and passed away during the development of his last game, Alien Disco Safari, the credits for which feature a memorial message about him.
In the late 90s he made his first game and had his first level developing experience on designing game maps with the Warcraft II Editor. Later he also worked with the "Genies Game Engine" and created his first "First-Person Shooter". This game was his first step into the professional game development industry. With this game he approached Soft Enterprises GmbH and got his first job in the game industry in 2000 as a Level Designer.
The first game Michael worked on was a game called "Arena", an unreleased first-person shooter by Soft Enterprises. His next project was the game Dragonfarm, and later he worked on the RTS Game Highland Warriors as 3D artist and level designer. He left Soft Enterprises in 2002.
From 2003 until 2006 he worked for L39 Studios GmbH the new company of his old boss Björn Heußner. In this company he advance and worked as "lead artist" and "level designer".
Michael worked on many games such as: * Breakout 3D * Rampage the Universe (Demo) * Shoot the Roach * Soccer Star * Aliens, Inc.: Attack on Earth
