Stéphane Lavergne (b. 1971) worked as a programmer at Ubisoft and joined the company in June 1997. Before that he studied at the Ecole nationale supérieure d'Electronique, Informatique et de Radiocommunications in Bordeaux between 1994 and 1996. He passed away around July 2012. The 2012 Wii U game Rabbids Land is dedicated to him.
