Udett started in the games industry in 1995 at EA-Germany as a Tester. After a couple of months, he accepted the position of 'supervisor for customer service & QA-LT (Quality assurance/language testing).

In 1997 he changed positions and moved to the Marketing department, where he was responsible for titles like: Dungeon Keeper, Moto Racer 1 + 2 , Wing Commander IV, LBA 2, Longbow II, Comanche 3, Sim City 2000, Ultima Online and some others.

In 1998 Udett moved to the European Headquarter of EA in the UK to establish the european Gamemaster support for Ultima Online.

In September 2001, he joined the team of Wings Simulations in the position of the Producer for the coming MMOG (Mass Multiplayer Online Games), including designing the community/support section. In April 2002, he still held that position.
