Nikolas Sideris was born in Athens, Greece in 1977. He started studying piano and soon moved on to composition. He holds a PhD in composition from Royal Holloway, University of London and an MMus from the same university. He also holds diplomas in piano and theoretical studies from Greek conservatories.

He's worked in a number of games in companies like Atropos Studios, xii games, Crystal Shard, Keldyn Interactive, Lemmy and Binky, as well as scored original soundtracks for TV documentaries Travelogue and Missing person, along with proving music for theatrical plays Missing Xmas and Ifigenia - the memory of the fish.

He is the co-owner of North by Sound Audio Productions, along with Thomas Regin.
