Alex began his industry career in 2000 at Volition Inc. in Champaign Illinois, as an environment texture artist on Red Faction. He graduated on to prop modeler/ level design on Red Faction 2. By 2005, he was a senior character artist on Saints Row for the Xbox 360.

In July 2005, Alex moved to Albany NY, to work at Vicarious Visions. He created 2D cutscenes, for Tony Hawks American Sk8land on the DS. He also did prototype work for Raven Studios' Marvel Ultimate Alliance on the Xbox 360, and environment textures for Spider-Man 3 for the PS2.

In May 2006, Alex transferred to Raven Studios and, in 2007, is currently employed as character artist.

In May 2008, Alex resigned from Raven Studios and is currently going freelance.
