Game enthusiast and seasoned manager

André Schmitz began his games career in 2004, with an internship at Master Creating where he worked on Restricted Area. After earning his degree in business administration he started working on ingame advertising at a small German agency called whitepaper Media. After a short side trip into virtual worlds, he came back to computer games as a game designer und project manager for the 5th Simon the Sorcerer adventure, the small budget title the The Fall: Mutant City and the social media technology called White Label Community, which was never released. After that he became Managing Director at the Noumena Studios and Head of Development for the RPG The Dark Eye: Demonicon.

At present he is working as a consultant with a focus on gamifaction and serious games.
