Matthew Thurling received his education at the University of London.

He entered the gaming industry in 1995 upon joining Electronics Arts where he developed the soundtracks for a number of high-profile PC and Playstation games. His job also required hiring voice talent and organizing location recordings.

After leaving EA in September 1997, Matt worked for several broadcast media production firms. During the next decade, he directed films and animation for the internet and television, produced documentaries and drama productions, designed and managed websites.

In July 2003, he founded science.tv. In 2009 he is still the CEO of that company in addition to overseeing development of the website and the production of original video content for the education market.

In addition, Matt is a consultant for Real World.
