Iain Compton worked at Games Workshop Ltd. 1996-2000 as a games developer and later as a writer for White Dwarf magazine. He joined GOA in April 2004 working on the European Dark Age of Camelot servers as lead English Games master. He moved to the European Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning project in 2007 as English Community Manager, and left in January 2009.
Iain returned to development as Senior Games Designer for Acony Games in Germany to make a free to play FPS called Bullet Run published by Sony Online Entertainment. The studio closed in early 2012 and Iain moved to Madrid to design iOS games with eRepublik Labs. The first game Tactical Heroes was released in October 2013. Iain currently works in Kyiv, Ukraine for Wargaming.net on an unannounced PC/Console game.
