From 1996, Rob Steptoe worked as lead artist at CBL Technology for lifestyle products such as Interior designer, Alen Tichmarsh's Barley Wood Garden Designer, Hornby Virtual Railway for EuroPress and Lego Creator for Superscape.
From 1998 he worked at Free Radical Design on levels for Timesplitters and Timesplitters 2.
In 2003 he joined Headfirst Productions as Lead Technical Artist and helped out on various technical aspects of art production.
Later Rob went back to Free Radical Design to work as Lead Artist on the unreleased Star Wars Battlefront III and left the company shortly after the Crytek buy out of Free Radical.
He then worked for Eurocom on Disney Universe and Harry Potter Kinect.
