Scott first came to development studio Volition as a summer intern while still a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After finishing his Ph.D. in Computer Graphics in May of 2007, he returned to the company as a programmer. He has published graphics papers in the SIGGRAPH and SCA conferences, as well as the TOG and CAGD journals, and still reviews for various publications in his spare time.
