Biography edit · view history

Jon Burton founded development studio Traveller's Tales Ltd. in 1989.

Burton has written several games, the first one being the hack n' slash title Leander, which was produced in collaboration with graphic artist Andy Ingram. This was followed by Puggsy, a platform game with puzzles which was partially inspired by Super Mario World. Puggsy enjoyed a positive critical reception but did not sell very well.

Burton has worked on a series of releases based on Disney franchises; his personal favourites were the Toy Story games. Traveller's Tales is now best known for producing the Lego video games and was awarded a BAFTA for Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.
