On 3rd December 2008, it was announced Victor Wachte had been appointed Director of Community at Outspark.
Before joining the company, Victor was the Online Community Relations Manager for Cryptic Studios, where he developed and managed community strategies for the online presence of both Champions Online and Star Trek Online and was responsible for launching their community websites.
Victor began his gaming career on the customer support forums for EverQuest and then led community relations through the launch of PlanetSide for Sony Online Entertainment and Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach for Turbine.
