Between 1991 and 1994, Spencer Craske was a programmer at Electronic Arts, it was his first full-time job after taking part of a computer science degree at Simon Fraser University. He eventually left the company for Gray Matter where he became a senior programmer. There he worked on games such as NHL All-Star Hockey and Perfect Weapon. He left Gray Matter for Radical Entertainment, where he worked on Fox Basketball 2000.
He moved to Black Box Games, where he worked on the PS2 versions of NHL Hitz 2002 and NHL Hitz 2003. After Black Box was purchased by EA Canada he worked on Need For Speed: Underground, Need For Speed: Underground 2, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Need For Speed: Carbon and Need For Speed: Pro Street . He worked on Modnation racers and Little Big Planet Karting at United Front Games, then returned back to EA to work on NHL 15 and UFC.
