Thrillville (PlayStation 2)

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

The Good
First is the gameplay, which you will need to build, interacting with guests, playing games, up-keeping the rollercoaster park, maintaining the theme park business. You can build roller coasters, race tracks, stalls, carnival rides and so much more.

Not only you interact with guests (discuss about the park, hot topics, flirt), you can challenge them with the oh-my-god, so fun games. Topics you share with them (history, food, animals) may sound outdated though.

Up-keeping the park now, you will have to change roles with staffs like cleaners, mechanics, entertainers to train them. A little boring right? Keeping up with the park busisness is a little fun. You will learn more about what is like being a theme park manager.

The Bad
Storyline is not so good in the game. It's about Mortimer the roller coaster researcher who used to be a famous manager of Thrillville facing Globojoy started by Garrison who will destroy the park business. The storyline is so much better for the sequel of the game, Off The Rails. You will have to create your character like The Sims.

Wow, the graphic look a little to blocky right? No, it's way too block! Lastly the audio which consists way too little variety of song genres. The game only plays more of overly sugary pop tunes.

The Bottom Line
Roller coaster Tycoon fans, get this game and you will think The Sims is superb. Well, the game is more about being a theme park manager. So, get the game and you will feel like a theme park manager...... if you like roller coasters.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan (PlayStation 2)

That Marsupial Just Keeps Going Better

The Good
The game looks so much more mature compared to the last two previous one. Again, this game had not lost its well-written storylines, wide range of collectibles, funny lines and everything which makes a platformer look nice and perfect. Best of all, the game doesn't appear too childish now because the characters in the game are all grown up.

The Bad
Still, i'm not too convinced about the dark graphics of this sequel. The game also look too wide and empty so u have go all over the map just to find one thing. This may also scare some of the young gamers because that's some scary creatures in it. Well, u cannot blame everything.

The Bottom Line
The game is so much better than the previous titles. Don't go and believe those reviews saying that this game isn't good because it's underrated. So for all of you platformer gamers, get Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 3 already.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue (PlayStation 2)

A Great Platformer Game For All U All

The Good
I don't think that any other game that have characters speak in such thick Australian accent. Gaming of the game is great fun too. Also expect yourself to listen memorable background music, see the beautiful Australia outback, collecting many items and laugh out loud to the funny lines in the game.

The Bad
Long distance between ending place of a level and the starting of another mission? Check. Figuring how the heck to finish the levels without instructions given? Check. Expensive sold items? Check. Too childish for some teenager gamers? Check check.

The Bottom Line
Okay okay I know. This game may seen like a crap if u don't play it. But don't judge the book by its cover. This game may not impress die hard, hardcore fans but this game may entertain the young and beginner platformer gamers. Even I personally think that this game is better compared the first one which was released at 2002 by EA. So i say, give this game a shot alright, mate. Rating:3/5
