I'm a middle-aged gamer who was bitten by the gaming bug in the mid-eighties by my ZX Spectrum and the seaside arcades. I still collect for older systems due to my nostalgia for big boxes and manuals but have also started collecting physical releases for recently released ZX Spectrum Next home computer. Due to my attention span being shorter than it was 30 years ago, I favour playing casual/arcade-style games and sandbox games (definitely not 40+ hour marathons like Final Fantasy or The Witcher) or anything recent that offers a genuinely new and unique gameplay experience.
