Games are special to me as a programmer because they bring together artists, designers, coders from very different disciplines. That's why VR excites me--not just for the dream of the holodeck, but in observing how film, theater, sociology and more attend VR events I see it as taking that fusion of skills to the next level.

I hopped onto MobyGames because I have a soft spot for issues in game preservation since researching the topic halfway through my education at SMU Guildhall. With the discovery problem inherent in games, it's as understandable as it is crazy to me that some of these experiences get lost to time, and I see MobyGames as providing an invaluable resource against that fate.
