Command & Conquer (Windows)

At last a REAL Real-time game!

The Good
What other strategy game is so Real, many games like Dune and Extreme Tactics are just plain Sci-Fi/ Strategy, even the so called "strategy" in Extreme Tactics is basically just bringing together a strong group and attacking (even a 6 year old could do it!), I have nothing against Extreme Tactics, in fact it's one of the best games I ever played, the graphics are quite good actually, at the beggining they look like any Real-time's graphics, then after playing the game many times, you'll notice the major improvements, the graphics are much more colourful and enhanced and they're just better.

The Bad
This game's only weak point is the sound (like in all strategy games), it's the usual beeps, and aaas.

The Bottom Line
Here's the bottom line: A good game that should be obtained by any action or strategy gamer. 4 and a quarter out of 5.

FIFA Soccer 2003 (Windows)

Try to compare Fifa 2002 to this, you'll notice to many flaws in the previous edition.

The Good
Ok, this game is great, it may have something to do with me loving soccer, but I really think this game got over all the flaws of 2002, the slightly too clear graphics and the gameplay and the way the ball moved and the slowness of the playersin the 2002 edition just annoyed me with how completely unrealistic they were. Quite frankly Fifa 2003 is the perfect soccer gaming experience. It's just so realistic, the way the players move, the passing system, the new free kick/corner system, the graphics, the speed, in short this game has very few flaws.

The Bad
Ok, the AI is so bad its laugh-worthy, it's almost easy to beat Real madrid with Rapid Bucharest, you can toy with a player if his strength is 91 or 48, it really doesn't matter, and the loading time is ridiculous, it once took me 3 minutes to load a replay and 5 minutes to load a saved game.

The Bottom Line
Great, if you like soccer you'll like this game, and it doesn't hurt that it's the best soccer game ever created.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (Xbox)

Blood. Gore. Brains. Hearts. People Blowing up. Utterly idiotic.

The Good
First of all I'd like to make it sure you guys understand i'm not a (person with no life who thinks blood is gross), i simply think it's utterly stupid.

This game is stunning from all areas, the graphics, the detail, the sheer excellency in technology, this game has the perfect visual detail, the areas are great, gameplay is a great improvement that shows why Midway decided to move their idiotic crap into 3D and also amazing sound.

The Bad
Everything, the game has a perfect everything, yes, but the stupid concept of punching your opponent to see buckets of blood fall to the floor remains a little strange to me. What exactly is the fun of seeing fatalities called "Open heart surgery", "Brain Ripper", and "Skeleton rip" which literally mean what they sound like? I saw a T rating on MK 4 and a T on "Escape From Monkey Island", I went crazy, since when do a few obscene words, and kinda gross humor rate T when ripping brains apart, and opening hearts also gets a T, oh please.

The Bottom Line
In the end it's clear that whoever plays MK: DA either is dying to see a graphic-wise fabulous game or they just feel it's nice to watch buckets of blood pouring to the floor. No offense to people like that, but i will never understand you.

The Game: 0/10 The graphics/sound: 9/10

Sega Soccer Slam (GameCube)

Sega's Strange Characters+Soccer+Slamming+LOADS OF ACTION= SEGA SOCCER SLAM!!

The Good
Umm... Fabulous graphics, a great, innovative and strange idea from Sega, lots of action, a host of interesting characters, good training games, fabulous "killer" & "spotlight" kicks, many teams to choose from, lots of different options and competitions, great stadiums, and less players to control, I wouldn't say this game is better than the EASport's FIFA Series, I'd just say it was a refreshing change!

The Bad
Almost nothing, well, actually nothing. Except one thing: Why is there no commentary? That would be great! "And he's slammed him to the floor, he's taken the ball, he's kicked to outer space, the other team has the ball, she's got it, it's A GOAL!!!"

The Bottom Line
Very Unusual, very strange, very WEIRD, and awfully, I mean REALLY weird.

All that in a great SEGA way!

Sega delights once again!

FIFA International Soccer (DOS)

An absolutely terrible game, with not even one good point...

The Good
Um.... Well.... Errr... Mmm... Umm... Well... Errr... Mmm.... NOTHING! OK, maybe the graphics are OK and are quite decent for the time.

But, if we look for anything apart from that... Umm... Well... Errr... Mmm....

Still Nothing.

This game is the worst sports game ever created for anything that handles games. Just HORRIBLE, just, the worst...

Now I'm gonna fill up the bad section, with umm... everything!

The Bad
Graphics: Well, I've always wondered how a player can kick a ball if his foot is in it... And how does a ball split into half when a player hits it with his head? And how do heads disappear of people, then magically come back? And how do goalposts almost completely stay still when the ball comes strongly into it?

Sound: WARNING: This game must be played with ALL speakers off... On a second though, this game must NOT be played at all...

And finally... Apart from the technical flaws, how can anyone enjoy this game, it's quite impossible actually! And finally, ONE tournament... I wonder, how anyone can play this!

The Bottom Line
AWFUL!!! SIMPLY AWFUL, unless you like horrible things... I'm sure this game has many fans, many brainwashed fans.

0/10

A final word: EA Sports is excellent, and the other FIFA games starting from 96 to the latest 2002 are just excellent, that's all I have to say... EA created one catastrophe while it created hundreds of miracles. WAY TO GO ELECTRONIC ARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
