LAGO S.r.l. was an Italian company that was a subsidary of another Italian company Leader S.p.a. It released add-ons and expansions for different simulation games. It was active since 1984 to around 2012. It operated the Black Bean Games publishing label.

LAGO is an Italian company founded in 1984. We started as distributors for original software; since 1986 we have a division, called SoftMail, which has become the #1 leisure software mail order.

In 1993 we have published our first title.

Since early 1996 we have been settled eight developing teams throughout Europe, which we coordinate and assign on different projects, all aimed at the flight simulation enviroment.

We are currently cooperating with a number of software houses which need to implement our unique sceneries creation technology as well as our avionics simulation knowledge for the professional, educational and consumer market.

What do we publish?

We are dedicated to publishing and distributing world-wide high quality products related to flight simulation. Our first product was Scenery Italy for Microsoft Flight Simulator 4/5, published under the label Virtuali.

In late 1994 we released 3D Advanced Graphic System (3DAGS) for Sublogic's A.T.P. followed in the 1995 by Scenery Italy for A.T.P.

Our 1996 effort has been Schiratti Commander™, a multi-purpose tool for Microsoft's Flight Simulator 5. It has been the first in a series of add-on products for the Microsoft simulator, other Microsoft's Flight Simulator 5 and 6 add-ons are scheduled for 1997: "WinPlanner Plus™" and gorgeous "Scenario Venezia", destined to become the newest standard in scenery development.

In late 1996 we also released the long-awaited Airline Simulator™, the full-featured commercial Boeing 747-400 simulator offering satisfying flight experiences throughout the European skies.

With a photorealistic flight deck and a complete, online interactive manual running on the same CD, Airline Simulator™ is a captivating airliner simulator with nothing else like it in the market.
