Overview edit · view history

The Farm 51 is a Polish game development studio founded by Wojtek Pazdur and Kamil Bilczynski, who both previously worked on the Painkiller franchise at People Can Fly, and Robert Siejka (former President of 3D Magazine). The company has been active since 2005. Although the relationship is not explained, many of the developers, including the founders, previously worked together on Time Ace (2007) as Trainwreck Studios, a division of 2015, Inc. Most likely it was a one-time contract job.

The studio offers asset creation, animations, level design, porting, and the development of complete projects. The Farm 51 assisted Codeminion S.C. with development on Stoneloops! of Jurassica (March 2008) and in February 2009 the in-house project NecroVisioN, a fantasy World War I shooter, was released. In September 2009 the team announced to be working on NecroVisioN: Lost Company, a stand-alone add-on for NecroVisioN that acts as a prequel to the game. It was released in December 2009.

The team did the cutscenes for the 2007 game Impossible Mission and contributed to The Witcher (2007) and Two Worlds II (2010). In October 2012 the studio released Painkiller: Hell and Damnation, a remake of the original Painkiller game and its expansion.
