Overview edit · view history

CNEC Inc. (or CITVC Netempire Entertainment Co., Ltd in some documents) is a game company in Beijing, China. It was founded in 2005 under China International Television Corporation (CITVC), a Chinese state-owned television company.

During 2006 to 2008, CNEC imported dozens of PC games, mainly from Electronic Arts who signed an exclusive publishing contract in Mainland China with the company. However, the deterioration of retail PC game market in Mainland China, which was caused by both piratical software and harsher censorship, pushed the company to concentrate on online games only.

Credited on 29 Games from 2006 to 2009
