Overview edit · view history

Sharing a premises with Rockstar's European publishing office, Rockstar London is located on King's Road just on the outskirts of the prestigious Chelsea area of London.

Rockstar London was formed in late 2005 bringing on a small skeleton crew to fill key positions. Recruitment began in earnest in early 2006 and the studio has grown steadily since.

The first title developed at this studio was the controversial title Manhunt 2, with the studio taking over development from Rockstar Vienna that was shutdown in 2006.

The London studio then went on to complete Midnight Club: L.A. Remix.

In June 2008 the studio was nominated for the Develop Industry Excellence Awards 2008 in the category of Best New UK/European Studio losing to Kuju's studio Double Six in the final vote tally.
