Shaba Games LLC
Overview
Shaba Games was a game development studio founded in September 1997 in San Francisco, California (USA). The studio was acquired by
Activision in April 2002 and became a wholly-owned subsidiary. On 9th October 2009 parent company Activision confirmed that the studio has been closed.
The studio was especially known for a number of entries in the
Tony Hawk skateboarding series. In later years at Activision, Shaba often acted as an assistant studio, porting or providing additional development to multiplatform titles.
