Not Elite, but a great game none the less! ;-)
The Good
Freedom, graphics, trading, building an empire, graphics, chilled out.
oh, and the graphics aren't bad.
The Bad
Limited empire building, which will, I hope be sorted in the new X game X2-The Threat, sometime late 2002/early 2003.
The Bottom Line
An excellent game if you want to
1)Trade
2)Explore
3)Blow up bad guys
4)Fly in space
5)Fly around in your ship in very nicely rendered 'space' and blow up baddies and upgrade your ship and make money and become an elite space pilot.
Nope, nothing like Elite, honest...
But just as good.
