Description
In the second game of the Sam & Max episodic series, the Freelance Police duo needs to investigate why talk show host Myra Stump has been holding her audience hostage in the WARP TV studio for three days. After a few hurdles to gain access to the studio, Myra refuses to let them enter until they have some famous aspects; such as a recording contract, a news scandal, and a shot from a TV show they have been in. The team will dwell the TV studios and participate in shows such as Embarrassing Idol, Who Will Never Be a Millionaire and the sitcom Midtown Cowboys.
The game uses the same third-person 3D adventure mechanics of the previous game, with humourous puzzles based on conversations, environmental items, and the inventory. Players do not need to have finished the first game to hop in; the story is completely independent. A new cast of characters including: Myra, the Warp TV director and the magician Hugh Bliss. Familiar faces through the series such as Bosco of Boscotech, and Sybil, now publishing a tabloid.
