Mr. Warren (b. 1977) is a valuable commodity to any game development team; he could be considered the King Midas of projects--whatever project he touches gets completed. Starting as an artist on a non-profit project, he quickly worked his way up to art administrator by proving his dedication through his consistent, hard work. He learned to manage other team members, delegate tasks, motivate the art department, and more importantly, how to commit himself entirely to the completion of a project.
Mr. Warren soon used his skills to co-found his own non-profit game project, and the results were impressive. Using his remarkable management skills, he completed his first project within 9 months; his second project was completed nearly a year later. Whereas most endeavors by virtual teams are never completed, Mr. Warren was able to see each project through to the end.
In addition to being a talented manager, he is also a competent scripter, providing the majority of programming efforts on each game released to date. Additionally, he is a jack-of-all-trades, giving him valuable knowledge for working with numerous departments. He easily communicates with the musicians, plot writers, artists and programmers. Having been an actor in the past, he also has an excellent understanding of what makes an interesting screenplay, how to entertain an audience, and also has skills in voice acting and setting up interesting scenes and environments. Additionally, Mr. Warren has a unique talent for focusing on the overall picture--he has a vision of what the game should be, and he is certain that the product made matches the quality that was always envisioned. More significant than merely having an impressive resume, Mr. Warren also has an amazing track-record and has repeatedly gained the respect of each and every staff member that has worked along side him. When someone sees the dedication he is willing to put into a project, they are inspired and motivated to work to their full potential as well.
