Here's another blast from the past.
The Good
With the second collection of games, it only gets better! There's only 21 games in this collection but there are a ton of awesom ones on it. You can relive such classics as Guantlet, Mortal Combat 2 and 3 or NARC. The AI is still great and the graphics in most of the games is better than the first collection. The sound is wonderful and so is the overall gameplay.
The Bad
I didn't like that it was rated M because of NARC. It's a game from the 80's and the graphics aren't that great but it's rated M for Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, and Intense Violence. I mean, you kill the bad guys (your a cop) and you confiscate their drugs. Yet they rated it M.
The Bottom Line
Midway Arcade Treasures is the second excellent collection of classics produced by Midway. You can relive games like NARC, Mortal Kombat 2 and 3 and much more. It's a great action packed collection that any arcade fan should have.

Some great games, but the overall presentation sucks a little.
The Good
The arcade classics compilation returns! Following the success of Midway Arcade Treasures, Midway had been busy preparing us for another slice of gaming history. The result was Midway Arcade Treasures 2! Back with a list of games that are bigger and meaner than the ones in the original. Instead of the likes of Defender or Joust, Arcade Treasures 2 moves onto some of the later, more violent classics such as NARC and Mortal Kombat. If you feel disappointed that a game like Root Beer Tapper doesn't appear, then you'll be pleased to know that there are other games like that on this disc. My personal favourite is Wacko, where you have to mix 'n' match aliens to destroy them by moving around in your spaceship and shooting at them. It's great fun!
The Bad
The extras are to be avoided. Don't bother watching the interviews because the sound quality is too distorted for anyone to hear what anyone is saying. The other extras also stink. This is a shame since the extras in the last edition were one of the original's highlights. As with the original, the games are emulated, so there will be a few very minor bugs in them.
The Bottom Line
The games are of much higher quality, but the overall presentation isn't. Only buy it if you're not too much of a retro gamer.
