Crytek Hungary was a development studio of Crytek GmbH and it was based in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in 2007 and the establishment was announced in May of that year. The first title the company was involved with was Crysis: Warhead (2008), the stand-alone expansion to Crysis. The studio then worked on Codename: Kingdoms, which was eventually never released.
On 20th December 2016 Crytek confirmed the closure of the division.
