Overview edit · view history

Denki Ltd. was founded on 20 March 2000 by four former team members of DMA Design. One of the co-founders was Colin Anderson. The company was located in Dundee, Scotland, and began as a very small independent games studio.

Their first release was Denki Blocks! in 2001.

During recent years, Denki has focused on interactive television development and has established itself as a leader in the production of games for this platform, routinely taking products from paper concept to completition in less than 10 weeks. The quality and significance of this work was recognised by the games community in 2003 when Denki received an 'Industry Excellence' award for its pioneering work in this field.

Denki was commissioned by Realtime Worlds to oversee design and production during the initial phase of its next-generation product Crackdown, which was released for the Xbox 360 in February 2007.

In December 2008, Denki announced that it would return to consoles with Quarrel for Xbox Live Arcade.
