Overview edit · view history
Blue Fang Games was a computer game development company founded in 1998 by Adam Levesque and John Wheeler, veterans of Papyrus Design Group.
The company's first Blue Fang product line, Zoo Tycoon (2001) was a commercial success. The company then produced and released the equally successful sequel Zoo Tycoon 2 (2004), with multiple add-ons and the 2008 Nintendo DS version.
On 10 February 2008, a co-development agreement was announced between Blue Fang and THQ for a new intellectual property, World of Zoo, which was released in October 2009 for Wii, Nintendo DS, and Windows systems. At its peak in 2009, the studio had 75 employees.
The company closed in September 2011.
