Circus Freak Studios was founded in 2001 from an internal development group at Infogrames whose members spun off to form their own company. Caroline Esmurdoc, one of the founders, was the company CEO from the beginning until it went out of business in 2003.
The only game known to have been developed by Circus Freak Studios is Superman: The Man of Steel for the Xbox.
