PTERODON, s.r.o. is a Czech firm, with the seat in the Czech Republic. It was found by Michal Janacek and Jarek Kolar in January 1998. In the beginning, the Company had been developing games (Hesperian Wars) for a German firm called Virtual X-citement, but in May 1998 it started to co-operate with a Czech company - Illusion Sofworks, s.r.o.
