Overview edit · view history

Dark Crystal Entertainment GbR was founded in 2003 by Lars Hutzelmann and Marc Schmitt with a focus on software development, graphic design and audio design. When the latter left the company at the end of 2004, Chester Kollschen joined it as CEO, CTO and associate.

Following their success with Triagonal (2005), a mobile game which was developed for the German TV channel ProSieben and its science show "Galileo", the company has specialized in mobile games and app development. They not only released their own titles such as Color Jumble (2007) and Edgar: Cave of Secrets (2008), but also created games on behalf of business clients. Next to several white label productions, one notable title is the comic adaptation AXA (2011) in association with Unizarre International Film & TV Productions Ltd.

The company was closed in 2013.
