Based in Universal City, California, Universal Interactive was originally a company owned by Universal Studios and was called Universal Interactive Studios for many years. The company concentrated on developing and publishing interactive entertainment for next generation game consoles, handhelds and PC platforms based on original content and Universal Studios character, movie, and television franchises.
