Gianni Aliotti has worked as a lighter/compositor at DreamWorks Animation on the animated comedy, "Over the Hedge," in theaters nationwide on May 19, 2006. After studying Illustration & Computer Arts at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he joined PDI/DreamWorks in 2000. He started out working on live-action visual effects for such projects as "The Deep End," "The Mexican," "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" and "People I Know," before segueing to work on animated films.
Prior to joining DreamWorks, he helped to create visual marvel "Stealth" by director Rob Cohen working with Digital Domain ("Apollo 13," "What Dreams May Come," "I, Robot" and "The Day After Tomorrow). Gianni has also worked on such varied projects as: "The Legend of Bagger Vance," "New World Order," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" and "Four Brothers."
Gianni Aliotti was born in Carmel, California. Gianni and his family currently reside in the Los Angeles area.
