Rumiko Takahashi (高橋 留美子), born October 10, 1957, is a Japanese mangaka. She debuted with Urusei Yatsura (1978) and has since created some of the most popular manga series, including Ranma ½ (1987), InuYasha (1996), and others, most of which have been adapted into a video game format numerous times.
