Hi All!

I have endeavored on a quest to collect, document, and curate all PC games that have come in non-standard packaging, and I need your help! A few things first:

What qualifies it as Odd/Unique? It must be packaged in either of these ways: a) non-square/rectangle standard box, b) if it does come in standard box, it must be unique in some way (window cutouts for viewing art/cd/box textures), c) unusual packing (tin can, wooden box, with a matchbox car, etc). This whittles down the list significantly.

Where does the list start and end?? I have tracked some of these as far back as 1985, and need help filling in the gaps; there just simply arent enough resources for discovery and documentation! As long as it was played on a computer system of any type (no consoles), I am collecting it. I am aware of newer games (2010's and forward), because they are documented and advertised everywhere; not as hard to find and I am adding them to my list as I go.

Resources: I am part of a group on facebook that collects big box PC games, as well as part of other forums - which are where I was able to get a bunch of these. I have also started scouring Indeigogo/Kickstarter and have added some that I know are there, too. This is where I come to you, Reddit! If you know of any games that can be added to the list, OR know of a resource that can assist in my research, I would be greatly appreciative!

Please see my current list below: https://i.redd.it/5rtrtui30l131.png

Thanks so much!!

You're at least missing Gender Wars. Can take pictures if you want.

I've also seen pictures of Settlers 2 (Gold Edition, probably even the original) with a box similar to Albion and Archimedean Dynasty.

Also the X-Car box came with a clear rectangular plastic shell around the X.

EDIT: Just remembered that although the front cover is a fold, the way everything is held inside is very unique in The Humans.

Kingdom O'Magic; UK version: Outer box is inverse-wedge shaped, with a square cutout in the center, where a smaller paper box holding the media is inserted.

Flight Unlimited: The word 'FLIGHT' in the title is cutout on the outer box front scenery, and a false bottom with a copy of the same scenery is fastened to the inside of the cutout, giving a 3D impression through the text.
