At this very moment, our veteran MobyGames contributor Kartanym has exactly 9999 points. One more point will allow him to join the ever-growing list of legendary five-digit contributors. No. There's nothing special about 10 000. Or 53013 for that matter. But 9999, now that's something. That's unique. Frankly we have so many over-10 000 people here we need something refreshing and a guy with 9999 is unique and special.

I remember having 51111 points for quite a while, that was fun.
But somebody, I think Servo, maybe somebody else, has had 33333 points for a long while some time ago.
