How bad is the approver backlog by the way? Dunno if I should become an approver again or not.

There's always a backlog, but a lot of automation has streamlined the kinds of things that used to bog up our backlog. Now they're whole other realms of clog.

I think most stuff is approved within a week or two. Oldest corrections date from 10 weeks ago. Yeah that's right, weeks, not years!

It's really easy. You just need to log into web page, no need to use a client unless you want to.

Attempted to check it out. Got irritated by the settings. Besides, I'm a single player nerd.

What settings? You don't have to mess with any settings, and it has nothing to with games really (unless you want it to).

I'm certain it's not the first game I /tried/ to get documented here... maybe not even in my first 10... I had a laser-like focus on edge cases and exceptions that were not supported by the Corn Popper status quo. I'm sure they thought I was some kind of contrarian troll. But here it is, the first one that made it through:

vileyn0id_8088 (20334) added Battlestorm (DOS) on Mar 17, 2004.

I remember having a bloody difficult time taking those screenshots in native DOS, because the game uses some kind of wonky tweaked VGA mode with a custom resolution... then most of the in-game shots were initially rejected because of that very reason (not a standard resolution). Yep, there was a time when screenshot approval guidelines were actually adhered to. :-D

P.S.: WB Indra! :-O

Can't remember how many of my screenshots eventually got rejected because of not being native. Native my emulation arse. :p :D

Thanks, mate. I'll be sure to annoy the approvers like back in the day. :D

Oh yeah, seeing the comments there. But seems like 486pc's ones were approved at 304x192, 8 years after yours, and also by Servo who was sending yours back. And those included this one, which I'd call obviously incomplete.
