If you have some time to waste, check out The Video Game Name Generator. It randomly creates more or less pointless names for video games, if you couldn't have guessed. It was made by one or more SA goons (I thought I should mention that, so that all of you who hate SA don't have to actually go there to form an opinion.)

Here are some games that I would like to see made:

Luigi's Booty Story (hurr)

L. Ron Hubbard's Penguin Strikes Back

Rocket-powered Mech Farmer

John Romero's Disco in Space

Subterranean Square Dancing Party

Spectacular Walrus Academy

The Income Tax - The Dark Project

Incredible Platypus Hop-A-Bout

  • Underwater Spatula Experience (cooking?)
  • Beautiful Combat Paratroopers (mmmm)
  • Sexy Sudoku Yoga (uhhh?)
  • Dead or Alive Pokemon Unleashed (since we were talking about them)
  • Intelligent Cowboy Dudes (isn't that an oxymoron?)
  • College 3D Exhibition (what kind of 3D exhibition?)
  • Scooby Doo and the Burger Zone (no burgers left after Scooby visits!)
  • Sid Meier's Underwear - The Next Generation (no thanks!)
  • Elderly Computer Vengeance (is that where the outdated computers attack, or where old people attack computers?)
  • Morbidly Obese Unicycle Starring Mickey Mouse (LOL!)
  • Lazy Sex Fantasy (for those who need computers for it)
  • Mavis Beacon Teaches Surgery Stars (I'll avoid those doctors!) Ok... I'm having too much fun with these... I'll stop here. :D Btw, since we are on name generators, if you haven't tried this one yet, try the The Barrow-Downs Middle-earth Name Generator and enter your name (try just first name, then first and last, then first middle and last). See what you are and what names it generates for you. I'd have started a new thread, but I'm just suggesting looking rather than listing what you see, so I didn't.

  • Dance Dance Mummy Trader (I'm still trying to imagine this game...)
  • [/Q --end chirinea wrote--] Well obviously it's a 15th century Sea Trading game where you pull into various Egyptian ports and dance dance (authentic styles) in order to negotiate the price of various artifacts and pieces of mysticism. Afterwards, you can bring these objects back to your home harbor and combine them to revive mummies and form an army. Different combination of artifacts produce mummies with different strengths and weaknesses. Unneeded artifacts can be sold to other ports across Europe.

Successful completion of your objectives will produce a vast Mummy army which can be used to destroy the Wendol which have recently appeared from the lands to the North and seek to overcome the world.

I'd just like to remind our developers, big and small that I'm available for employment as a plot/storyline designer in your upcoming games ;)

Okay, this is getting bookmarked. Who knows, I might even find it useful if I ever decided to go into game production. Here's some of my favorites from clicking through:

    • Post-Apocalyptic Ping Pong Smuggler (sounds like Ashes of Empire mixed with Pong minigames)
    • Legend of the Unicycle Armada (Uniracers 2?)
    • Turbo Fighter Jamboree (SNK... are you paying attention?)
    • Ebony Yeti Bastards (no comment.)
    • Golden Basketball Desperadoes (*grin*)
    • Dr. Death Armageddon (Third cousin to Cassanova Frankenstein!)
    • The Infernal Battleship Island

Barbie's Afro Wars (I think this one's my favorite)
Japanese Sailor Warrior (sounds like a generic NES game)
Medieval Flatulence Dudes (sounds like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure: The Game to me)
Day of the Puppy Task Force
Elderly Magic Revolution (ewww "Ederly Magic")
Action Amish Safari (nice, I like this one too)
    Final Fantasy Chipmunk Frenzy
    First-Person Fantasy Pimps

Hmm... this gives me an idea....
