So, uh, this and Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera?

Exactly. And Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera (Collector's Edition). Perhaps the suggested name of the group is not totally correct since neither of the two games is a literal adaptation of Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera but an adaptation of it.

Perhaps a better name should be: Inspired/based by/on Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera.

It doesn´t have to! The groupname only says "Fictional character: Phantom of the Opera". Mentioning of the source material can be done in the group description.

My question was if those games had indeed present the Phantom of the Opera as a character or an entity of some kind related to him, or were solely based on the book, which would therefore eliminate the title "Fictional character: Phantom of the Opera". I confirmed that both of them have indeed present the Phantom. So yes, the initial title is still valid.
