I was looking up stuff about Aquaman, (Yes, I like like Aquaman.) and I came across this. Here's ours.

Why is that an issue if they source it?
EDIT: Ahh, because they didn't source it, and whoever added it instead made it out to be an original capture. Meh, looks like something that's easily edited though. I'd do it myself if I gave two polyester poops about contributing to Wikipedia.

Didn't when I looked at it. Someone apparently changed it in the last hour.
EDIT: Ah-ha! Agent 5 is on the case!

A legible watermark would be too large/intrusive on a smaller image?

You mean like the one on the lower right? You tell me if that's intrusive or not.

No. Lower left is a bit, but I think the white tab on the right is appropriate for all occasions.
But then, it would also be fairly easy to crop out. Maybe that's why they/we don't bother?

[Q --start Foxhack wrote--]Remind me why small screenshots still don't get watermarks again? [/Q --end Foxhack wrote--]I don't think in this particular case that it's the size of the screenshot so much as the age - there are more than just a few in the database from some years back that somehow got missed.

I submitted these this week.
This one didn't get watermarked either.
This is why people from that giant site keep stealing our stuff.
