Restaurant Empire
Description official descriptions
Do you have what it takes to be a world famous chef? Start out the game with a single restaurant in France and work to build your way into Italy and the United States. Work to make you customers happy by providing a wide range of foods and preparing them well. Set your prices, add special items to your recipes, trade recipes, upgrade how your restaurant looks on the inside and the outside... it's all up to you.
Be sure and hire enough staff to provide fast service and clean dishes, or you will lose customers. And add that special touch by using high quality ingredients rather than the basic ingredients at the local market.
In-between improving your restaurants, try your hand at the local and international food competitions. Winning here can get you more recipes and make you more famous. Work hard and you might just make a name for yourself as the top chef in the world.

The Good
Being just a gamer and not a chef I am glad to welcome this sort of offbeat game, I like to call it a mix of “Theme Hospital”, “The Sims” and of course, elements from other Empire games like “Casino Empire”, “Hotel Giant” and so on...
Well, the mix works and the game reach some of my expectations...
The best points in my opinion is the interaction with your clients, the building and decoration of the restaurant, the food variety and at last the best “cuisine” competitions.
The graphics are simple but acceptable.
The Bad
I am disappointed by not being able of make my own recipes, it could be better if you take ingredients to make your own recipes and experiment with your clients stomachs. You are limited.
In a few words, after playing the “campaign” comes routine, there is not replayability value.
The last couple of years we had lot of new tycoons and empires to experiment and most are very similar, so after a while you start feeling that all are close and feel saturated. I keep looking for outstanding new features that never come, and “Restaurant Empire” in this aspect is just another one.
The Bottom Line
Nice to play for a couple of weeks but do not expect more that that.

The Good
The various challenges, even though some were quite hard.
The Bad
The anticlimax at the end when you win the final confrontation...Wanted to continue developing restaurants etc...Felt it ended without any options to continue....
The Bottom Line
It grabs hold of you...very addictive....
