A Mummy Is Not an Antique
Description
This zany, madcap choice-based storygame is most certainly the best game ever made using its particular scenario, because its combination of story elements must surely be unique: the player steps into the shoes of a producer of an antique-appraisal television show, a beat typically only nominally livelier than watching paint dry, when an unscheduled guest arrives at the antique fair looking to cash in on a truly vintage set of long-preserved human remains. One inadvertently-invoked resurrection spell later, the homicidal mummy is tearing a strip through the flea market, while various unlikely factions -- witches, a Catholic priest, even the FBI -- compete to subdue the threat and claim its power for their own. Meanwhile, the player needs to make sure the camera keeps rolling and remains pointed in the direction of breaking action...
